Kentucky Arts Council

A Bold New Identity for Kentucky Arts

The Kentucky Arts Council has long been the backbone of the state’s creative community, but its visual identity was feeling outdated and failing to fully capture the rich, evolving spirit of the commonwealth. RedTag stepped in to give the organization a fresh brand direction and a modernized identity built to connect deeply across Kentucky.

At the center of the system is a bold, abstract "K" formed by a clean kerf cut. That precise incision creates an open-ended mark, letting you see the letterform either in the cut itself or the space around it, while a dynamic palette shifts by season and use case. The Kentucky Arts Council now shows up with modern clarity and purpose, ready to elevate the region's creative movement.
